4/8 Tension Monitor (PDF)

The 4/8 Dual Cable Tension Display can monitor either 4 or 8 independent points of tension, simultaneously. All the required line data is brought into one display unit for efficient, economical operation. In use, the tension lines are each displayed with winch identification, and each tension input channel calibrates independently. High/Low alarms can be set for each channel, and the display’s serial output (RS-232 and RS-485) can stream the channels of tension data, perfect for applications that require continuous data logging.

The LCI display family are CE and UL-approved winch line control instruments designed as a rugged, drop-in replacements for existing line monitoring equipment. Their bright electroluminescent viewing screens can be user-configured to set unit scale and parameter positions. Calibration requires only the push of a few stainless steel front panel buttons, and a security code feature keeps all field configuration settings from being accidentally changed. The electroluminescent (EL) panels used in our displays provide higher contrast and brightness than comparable LCD technology, and feature an amazing 160° viewing angle - in all directions - for crisp data viewing in any application.
