Optional Sweating Skin System

Optional Sweating Skin System
Measurement Technology NW's sweating skin system provides volumetric flow rate control by manikin zone. It is based on a matrix of pores over the active surface of the manikin combined with a removable wicking fabric suit to distribute water over the manikin surface. Using our ThermDAC software interface, each manikin zone can be controlled to a specific flow rate setpoint. These flow rates can be adjusted at any time during the course of the test to optimize the wettedness of the fabric skin. More on the Sweating Skin System

NEWTON - Optional Walking Test System

NEWTON - Optional Walking Test System
Significant design and engineering effort has been invested to ensure that Newton manikins can generate smooth, realistic walking movements in compliance with ENV 342. Measurement Technology NW's walking motion system includes roll-around stand with integrated winch to aid in lifting, positioning, and transporting the manikin, as well as motor, drive assembly, and the quick-connect actuator rods needed to generate a walking motion. Operating speed is continuously variable up to 55 double-steps per minute. More on Walking NEWTON

Optional Breathing System

Optional Breathing System
MTNW's external breathing system consists of pneumatic cylinders that are cycled in and out by a servo linear actuator to replicate the cycle, frequency, and volume of human breathing. User-adjustable variables allow control of these variables, while our ThermDAC control system automatically monitors user-set inputs and adjusts the motion of the air cylinders accordingly. An innovative breathing manifold in the manikin head permits breathing through the nose, mouth, or any nose/mouth combination. More on the Breathing System
